Cons Carnage in the Valley went off at Fraser Heights skatepark, with some of the best skateboarders in the lower mainland coming out and competing for $1000 Cash!

With Cyrus Thiedeke on the mike and DJ Joelz Field spinning Hip Hop All Day the contest was a blast.

Despite the insane heat everyone threw down! Stand outs included Cole Theodis’s front board down the 9 stair, Hashbrown, Magnus Hanson, Reid Timmons, Mick Bey, Eric Perira and Sam Hampton.

After the runs were done we had a best trick contest down the Double Set and again everyone was throwing down!

Brett Gilchrist, Ried Timmons, Andrew Classon, Sam Hampton and Michael Ray all walked away winners in the Best trick!

Granville Street was once again shut down as Vans returned to Vancouver for the annual Vans Road Block. Local shops and teams came together for the event as they competed on their own homemade obstacle ramps, each receiving a $1000 prize from Vans. Antisocial, BLVD, Underworld, and our very own Coastal Riders stepped into action to make this an unforgettable show of the summer with Hashbrown, John Hanlon, Magnus Hanson, Sam Hampton, Paul Machnau, and Jordan Repin all skating for the team. Tomorrow night one of Canada’s Best Skateboard Teams is going to be skating at Chuck Bailey Skatepark and we want you to come and hang!
