Today is the First Day of Summer and Tomorrow, June 21st, is INTERATIONAL GO SKATEBOARDING DAY!

There are couple of events going on in the Vancouver Area that you should be aware of for tomorrow to help you enjoy the festivities.

VANS Go Skate Day!

Meet at the Plaza at 9:30 – 10:30 for a Vans Waffle Breakfast and then skate all day enjoying all the festivities around the City, including the Skate over the Dunsmuir St. Viaduct and then head over to the Hastings Bowl for a BBQ from 6 – 9pm!

DC x Color Go Skateboarding Day!

Head down to the Plaza at 3 pm to skate and check out the Downtown Session for Cash Money. Then head with the Masses and Barge the Dunsmuir St. Viaduct at 5 pm to Strathcona for a BBQ and Good Time!

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary we wanted to do something special. Coastal Riders has had a rich history in skateboarding and snowboarding, with deep roots in the community, and as we move forward we felt it appropriate to look back. As cliche as it sounds, you need to know where you came from, to know where you are going.

The following series is a tribute to how Skateboarding and Snowboarding changed our lives the lives of those around us.

Its been 10 years of blood, sweat and tears, with Coastal Riders.

Here’s to the next 10.

Snowboarder Magazine hosted Super Park 16 at Mount Bachelor last month and along with the Contest they put a challenge forth to the Brands to put out an Edit of their time at Super Park.

Dinosaurs Will Die, although they missed the deadline, still put forth one hell of an edit!

This past Saturday we were able to celebrate the life of a Fellow Skater and Friend from North Delta, with an amazing day of BBQ, Family, Tears, Smiles, and Skateboarding!

The first Jamie Kehoe Skate Jam was amazing! It seemed all of North Delta showed up to celebrate Jamie and remember him for who he was!

Everyone who came out was ripping, all wearing JK ALL DAY shirts!
