Well skateboard season, aka summer, is in full effect and no one is more stoked about it then Coastal team riders Magnus Hanson, and John Hanlon.
Mangus recently got a post up on the Black Label Blog, with some amazing footage.

Also getting some internet blog love is John Hanlon, who had some footage posted up on the Party Snake Blog. You can look for both John and Magnus to have full parts in the new upcoming Coastal Riders Skate video Party Skate.

Well we here at Coastal Riders have been busy helping to bring you some of the Best Skateboarding Events this Summer has to offer. One of the more recent events we were involved in was the Vans Roadblock which was an event that took place on a closed down section of Granville St. in Downtown Vancouver. The Contest pitted Skate teams from Coastal Riders, Underworld, Blvd and Antisocial against each other on obstacles that each shop built and brought to the contest. Coastal Riders brought our homemade metal-frame bench that’s somewhat of a family heirloom. According to Hashbrown it was fabricated in shop class years ago by a former team rider, and we have had it ever since. Dustin Locke, Jordan Zazula, Adam Fontaine, Scott Tyson and ringer Stacy Gabriel all showed up and threw down to represent Team Coastal. Coastal’s Magnus Hanson and John Hanlon would’ve definitely posed a serious threat, but they were on the road for Beat the Heat in Medicine Hat, AB (where Magnus took first and apparently pocketed $5000). Fun was had by all and when the dust settled Underworld had walked away with the majority of the winnings, and BLVD taking the rest. Thanks to everybody who came out, to Stacy Gabriel for being our Ringer, and to Vans for putting on this great event. Make sure you Check Coastal Riders for the best selection of Vans Shoes in the Lower Mainland. Keep it locked to Coastal Riders.com and our facebook group for information about events going on all summer.
